Very nice genuine Vietnam War US Army M1 helmet, rear rim seam and swivel loops, shell number I-4462.
Canvas chinstrap with steel hook and buckle.
Comes with its original liner, 1972-dated, retaining its OD cotton web suspension, russet leather sweatband, and black-painted A washers; two stars have been drawn on the outer surface.
Homogeneous set, coming with a Mitchell Pattern reversible camouflage helmet cover, showing a contract number which corresponds to 1965.
Good overall condition.
