Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 333C. Original canvas chinstrap with early brass buckle and hook. A metal Major rank insignia has been welded on the front of the shell.
Comes with its original liner, manufactured by CAPAC, retaining its khaki cotton web suspension and neckband (both damaged), leather sweatband, and blackened-brass A washers. Nickname Rocky has been engraved on the left side, while another metal Major rank insignia has been glued on the front.
Nice homogeneous set in quite good, worn condition.
