Interesting genuine WWII US M1 Army helmet, front rim seam and swivel loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 852A.
Original canvas chinstrap with steel buckle and hook.
Mention Hell's Godfather has been hand-painted in yellow and red capital letters on the front of shell.
Comes with some original liner, manufactured by Westinghouse, which retains its khaki cotton web suspension and neckband, russet leather sweatband and blackened-brass A washers.
This set is in quite good, worn condition.
