Great genuine WWII US Navy M1 helmet, front rim seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 203B.
Original canvas chinstrap with brass buckle and hook.
The outer surface of the shell has been covered with a layer of dark blue-gray paint, whereas nickname DucKo has been hand-painted in white letters on the inner surface.
Comes along with its liner, manufactured by Westinghouse, retaining its khaki cotton web suspension, russet leather sweatband, and OD-painted A washers (partly oxidized).
Nice homogeneous set in good, worn condition.
