Rare genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front rim seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 273A.
Original early production canvas chinstrap with brass buckle and hook.
The 29th Infantry Division insignia has been painted on the front of the shell.
Comes with an original liner, manufactured by Firestone, which retains its original khaki cotton web suspension and neckband, russet leather sweatband, blackened-brass A washers, and leather chinstrap.
Very nice set in good, worn condition.
