Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front rim seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 195C.
Early canvas chinstrap with brass buckle and hook.
Some Colonel rank insignia has been welded on the front.
Comes with its original liner, manufactured by Seaman Paper Co., retaining its khaki cotton web suspension and neckband, russet leather sweatband, and OD-painted A washers.
Very nice homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
