Genuine WWII US M2 individual medical jungle kit pouch, Item No. 9710900, introduced in 1943 for the Army yet also widely used by the Marine Corps.
A first-aid packet pouch or any other piece of equipment featuring the standard bent-wire hook can be attached below, thanks to the two eyelets intended for that purpose.
Manufactured by Richard Green & Co. in 1945.
The flap has been adorned with a red cross painted on a white disc.
