Book, US Navy Gear A Collector's Guide to U.S. Navy Flight And Deckwear, 1910s - 1940s, by Aota Mituhiro, Rice Publishing.
This book contains not only rare photographs of actual U.S. NAVY jackets, trousers, flight suits, and other items, but also an extensive database compiled from primary-source specification documents collected over many years—covering contract numbers, effective dates, and even suppliers. Aota’s historical analysis, developed through a two-sided approach that examines both surviving garments and the original specifications, is also a major highlight.
A definitive compilation of U.S. Navy Clothing that no one in the world has ever reached before. If you love vintage military clothing, this is a one-of-a-kind book you absolutely must obtain.
A superb reference book on U.S. Navy uniforms—a must-have!
