Rare genuine WWII US Army Field Ration K, Supper Unit, of the early type.
Packaged by The Cracker Jack Co. in Chicago, Illinois.
Initially intended for airborne units, this type of combat ration pack was standardized for all branches of service in November 1942. A daily ration for one man was made up of three separate cardboard boxes -- Breakfast, Dinner, and Supper.
Complete; comes in its original carton in sealed, untouched condition.
Do not eat contents.
