Camera, Argus AA, 1941

Great genuine WWII US Argus AA camera, produced between 1941 and 1942. In the early stages of the war, the US Army ordered of these and made them available for sale at PXs. Many GIs subsequently bought this type of simple camera so that they could take their own pictures and bring some souvenirs back home. Some famous war photographers were also keen of this popular type.
