Overcoat, Wool, 42R, Pvt. John Kupetz, 1302nd Engineer General Service Regiment

Genuine WWII US Army Other Ranks double-breasted wool overcoat.

This type features two slanted side pockets, two shoulder straps and a buttoned half-belt in the back.

Label is dated March 27, 1942; size 42R.

Very good overall condition; one single button is missing.

Name Kupetz and ASN K8904 are visible in the collar.

John Kupetz was born on May 31, 1915 in Milmay, New Jersey and joined the US Army on November 2, 1942 (ASN 32368904). He went on to serve with Company E, 1302nd Engineer General Service Regiment, and was discharged on January 14, 1944 as a Technician 5th Grade. He passed away on September 7, 1979.
