Nice genuine WWII US Army OD wool serge trousers, 'Special' type -- standard issue with an anti-vesicant special feature in the shape of a triangular flap behind the fly.
Label is dated October 27, 1943; size 38 x 31.
Excellent overall condition.
Ink markings visible inside indicate that the present trousers once belonged to some Lieutenant Albert W. Lenowicz, officer's ASN O-159302.
Albert Walter Lenowicz was born on September 25, 1914 in Brooklyn, New York City and joined the US Army on May 26, 1942 (ASN 32343634). He was discharged on March 1st, 1946, and passed away on February 18, 1974.
