Nice genuine WWII US Navy M1 helmet, front seam and swivel loops, manufactured by Schlueter, shell number 350. The outer surface was first covered with a layer of light blue-gray paint, and then with a layer of darker shade. A skull and a pair of crossed bones adorn the front of the present shell.
Good, worn condition.
