Suit, Flying, Summer, M-426A, US Navy, Ens. Wayne Kinsel

Genuine WWII US Navy M-426A summer flying suit, made in tan cotton poplin and featuring two buttoned-flap pockets above the ankles.

Manufactured by Royal Airsuit, Inc. Contract number NXs-5138.

Complete and in quite good, worn condition; Talon zipper is in working order.

The leather badge sewn on the left breast indicates that the present suit once belonged to some Ensign W.F. Kinsel, who flew as a pilot in the US Naval Reserve.

Wayne Francis Kinsel was born on March 21, 1915 in San Rafael, California and served in the Navy during the Second World War and the Korean War. He retired as a Lieutenant Commander, and passed away on May 18, 1995.
