Great genuine WWII USAAF AN-6510-1 seat type parachute assembly, standardized in 1942 for fighter pilots and used in most theaters of operations throughout the war.
Complete with canopy dated 1943, pack, back pad, seat cushion, harness, bungee cords and early snap hooks (in working order). Harness is dated May 1943, pack is marked Cole of California, Inc. and dated January 1943.
Homogeneous set, in excellent overall condition. A small manual dedicated to the emergency uses of the parachute is still present in the small compartment intended for the Log Record.
