Genuine Korean War US M1 helmet, rear rim seam and swivel loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 1219A.
Original OD 7 canvas chinstrap with steel buckle and hook.
Comes with its original liner, manufactured by Westinghouse, retaining its OD 7 cotton web suspension and neckband with russet leather sweatband and black-painted A washers.
This assembly sports a nice US Marine Corps camouflage cover, dated 1953 and on which mention Long live the great pumpkin has been handwritten.
Homogeneous set in good, worn condition.
