Very nice genuine WWII US M1905 bayonet, shortened type. The left side of the ricasso features manufacturer's hallmark RIA (Rock Island Armory), the Ordnance Department bomb and date 1911; the right side bears the regulation US stamp.
The blade of the present bayonet has been shortened by American Fork & Hoe, as indicated by stamp AFH on the hilt, and its tip reshaped as a Bowie Type. Black bakelite grips; mechanism is in working condition. Delivered in its genuine WWII OD bakelite scabbard.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
