Genuine WWII US M1942 bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle, manufactured by PAL in 1943 and subsequently shortened by the same company.

This type was redesignated M1 in March 1943.

Good overall condition; comes in its OD bakelite scabbard, on which initials L.A. have been carved and adorned with a braided cord attached on the tip.
