Genuine WWI US M1905 E1 bayonet, initially intended for the M1903 Springfield rifle.
Manufactured by Springfield Armoryin 1915 (see hallmark on the left side of the ricasso) and subsequently shortened by American Fork & Hoe (see initials AFH on the tang).
This type was redesignated M1 in March 1943.
Excellent overall condition; comes in its OD bakelite scabbard.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
