Tent, Shelter, Half, 1st Type, US Army, OMAHA SEAT COVER CO. 1942
Genuine WWII US Army half shelter tent, of the first type.
Manufactured by Omaha Seat Cover Co. in 1942.
As part of his issue, every GI had a shelter-half, usually rolled into the M1928 haversack's pack carrier. A two-man tent could be pitched by buttoning two similar pieces together.
Good overall condition; comes along with its 1942-dated mast and five wooden pegs.
