Original letter and envelope sent to Private Raymond G. Geddes, Jr., 501st PIR by his mother when Ray was stationed at Camp Toccoa, Georgia.

Postmarked on February 22, 1943. 

Staff Sergeant Raymond Geddes, Jr., Company G, 3rd Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division jumped in Normandy on D-Day and was wounded two days later at the infamous 'Dead Man's Corner'.
