Original letter and envelope sent to Private First Class Raymond G. Geddes, Jr., 501st PIR by his mother while Ray was in Tennessee. 

Postmarked on November 7, 1943.

Staff Sergeant Raymond Geddes, Jr., Company G, 3rd Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division jumped in Normandy on D-Day and was wounded two days later at the infamous 'Dead Man's Corner'.
