Genuine pair of WWII US Army Nurse Corps dog tags, issued to Marie F. Mailloux, ASN N-752404, vaccinated against tetanus in 1943 and 1944, blood type O, Catholic.

Homogeneous set, in excellent overall condition, retaining both bead chains.

Marie Fernande Albertine Rita Mailloux was born on September 20, 1917 in St. Valentine, Province of Quebec, Canada, and crossed the US border along with her mother when she was 2 years old. Upon graduating from hospital nurses' training school, she joined the Army Nurse Corps and went on to serve at 188th Station Hospital in Narsarssuak, Greenland. She became a citizen of the United States on June 14, 1944 and was discharged as a 1st Lieutenant. She married William Andrew Kelly on September 9, 1958 and passed away on May 6, 2013.
