Genuine WWII US Army M4 russet leather holster, designed for M1917 Colt and Smith & Wesson revolvers, .45 caliber.
Contrary to the M1909, which was intended for being carried on the right side with the handgun butt forward, the M4 features a more practical configuration, allowing its wearer to draw the weapon faster.
Manufactured by Milwaukee Saddlery Co. in 1944.
