Nice genuine WWII US Army M1943 goggles, featuring green acetate lenses designed for protection from dust, wind and excessive light glare. These are virtually identical to the E-1 goggles with red lenses intended for being worn by USAAF aircrews during night flights.
This type was issued to various branches, including Air Forces, Airborne units and Mountain troops.
Dated 1943. Excellent overall condition, complete with elastic band and lens covers; come in their original kraft envelope.
