Genuine WWII USM3 trench knife, manufactured by Case, hallmarked on guard. Comes in its original USM8 bakelite scabbard, 2nd type, manufactured by B.M. Co. Snap fastener of securing strap in working order. The sheath can be attached onto the leg thanks to the leather lace.
The Case Company made more versions of the present knife than any other manufacturer. These variations included two different blade markings and two guard markings; some had a bent guard and others were straight, while the handle could be smooth or grooved.
Nice homogeneous set in good, used condition.
