Nice genuine WWII US Army 'jump wings', made in sterling silver.

Designed by Captain Yarborough and 2nd Lieutenant Minter, the Army Parachutist's Badge was first presented on March 23, 1941. Qualification was six jumps, later reduced to five.

Very good overall condition; quite interestingly, the pin has been replaced with a small clamp, allowing the wearer to sport the present badge as a tie clip or lapel badge without puncturing his clothes.
