Nice genuine WWII US Army Other Ranks wool serge off-duty coat, complete with all original buttons.

The present jacket retains the following original insignias: Engineer Special Brigades shoulder sleeve patch, First Sergeant rank stripes, US and Corps of Engineers collar discs, Amphibious Engineers breast patch, 'Ruptured Duck', Overseas Service Bars and Service Stripe. Label is dated 1941. Size 36R.

Good overall condition. Name Frye and laundry number F8383 have been handwritten in the collar and later crossed out.

Victor Norman Frye was born on June 30, 1917 in Buchanan, Iowa and joined the US Army on September 9, 1942 (ASN 17068383). He was discharged on February 5, 1946 and passed away on April 3, 1999.
