Jacket, Field, M-1941, Arctic

Genuine WWII US Army M-1941 'Arctic' jacket, based on the standard regulation field jacket.

Longer than the above-mentioned type, featuring blanket lining and made in the same cotton twill as the other items in the winter range, this version is fitted with buckle and strap adjusters at the side of the waist and across the wrists.

Mostly issued to units deployed in the Aleutian Islands and other parts of Alaska, this jacket was also worn by troops fighting in the ETO, particularly in the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge.

Complete and in very good overall condition.
