Rare genuine WWII US Navy denim parka jacket, initially intended for being worn as a decontamination outfit.
Featuring a hood and a four-button closure on the front, this white cotton cloth parka was later dyed in a light green shade. On June 6, 1944, this garment was issued to the sailors of the 2nd Naval Beach Battalion who landed on Utah Beach.
Complete and in very good overall condition.
