Knife, Trench, USM3 CAMILLUS, on Guard, with Scabbard, USM6, MILSCO 1943
Amazing reproduction of the USM3 trench knife manufactured by Camillus, hallmarked on guard and bearing the Ordnance Department flaming bomb stamp on pommel cap.
Comes in its USM6 russet leather scabbard (reproduction), featuring strengthening pieces consisting of two rectangular metal plates fastened by four rivets, which keep the leather parts together. Fastening of these pieces is also ensured by rivets and a strong sewn seam, while an eyelet allows for a leather leg lace (included).
Staples reinforce the top of the sheath on which the hilt rests. Snap fastener of securing strap is in working order. The scabbard can be attached to the M1936 belt thanks to the bent-wire hook. Markings U.S. M6 Milsco 1943 are visible on the front.
