Genuine WWII USM3 trench knife, manufactured by Case and hallmarked on blade. Comes its original USM8 bakelite scabbard, 1st type, manufactured by B.M. Co. Snap fastener of securing strap is in working order.
The Case Compay made more versions of the present knife than any other manufacturer. These variations included two different blade markings and two guard markings. Some had a bent guard and others were straight. The handle variations were smooth, rigged and grooved types.
Nice homogeneous set in good, used condition.
