Genuine WWII USM3 trench knife, manufactured by Case, hallmarked on blade. Comes its original USM8 bakelite scabbard, 1st type, manufactured by B.M. Co. and retaining its leather lace. Snap fastener of handle securing strap is in working order.
The Case Compay made more versions of the present knife than any other manufacturer. These variations included two different blade markings and two guard markings. Some had a bent guard and others were straight. The handle variations were smooth, rigged and grooved types.
Nice homogeneous set in good overall condition.
