Genuine WWII US machete, 21.5inch blade, made by Collins & Co. and dated 1944. Comes in its original russet leather scabbard, missing its bent-wire hook -- no production markings visible.
Such machetes were, amongst other branches of service, quite popular with American paratroopers and Marines manning the .30 machine gun.
Nice homogeneous set in quite good, used condition.
