Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number partly legible: [...]44B. Original canvas chinstrap with brass buckle and hook.
Comes with its original liner, manufactured by Westinghouse, retaining its khaki cotton web suspension and neckband, russet leather sweatband and OD-painted A washers. The leather chinstrap shows signs of repair (two staples).
Nice homogeneous set in very good overall condition.
